23-25 April, Securmatica, Madrid, Spain

This year Securmatica celebrates 30 years of information security, exploring the evolution of the cyber security industry and remembering a time when legislation and regulation didn’t apply. Designed for the CISOs of 2019, this year’s comprehensive three day program reflects on and represents the theory that remains relevant to this day. 24-25 April – CyberUK, Glasgow, Scotland

Nahim Fazal, Threat Intelligence Business Lead at CounterCraft is heading back to his Scottish roots for CYBERUK, taking place this year in Glasgow durin Cyber Scotland Week 2019. Hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), CYBERUK is the UK government’s flagship cyber security event and includes world-class speakers, solutions, and opportunities for the public and private sectors to interact. The program focuses on cyber resilience, and will explore how we must respond as individuals, as well as a community, to keep Britain safe in the face of the evolving cyber threat.

4-6 June – Infosecurity Europe, London, UK

Meet the CounterCraft team at infosecurity Europe 2019 this June. One of Olympia London’s unmissable annual exhibitions, the 2019 event will bring together around 15,000 delegates from the business, tech and cyber communities, and demo some of the best cyber security innovations being developed in industry.

Join Nahim Fazal, Threat Intelligence Business Lead at CounterCraft at 2pm on Thursday 6 June for his talk “Building Cyber Resilience to Sustained and Persistent Cyber Attacks”, part of the Strategy Talks series at this year’s exhibition. 17-20 June – Gartner Security and Risk Management Summit, Washington, US

This Gartner Summit is considered the most valuable information update on cyber security threats and solutions and networking opportunity for CISOs and security, risk and resilience professionals. 21-22 June – EuskalHack 2019, San Sebastián, Spain

You’ll find industry experts and students at the EuskalHack Security Congress, organized by the Computer Security Association EuskalHack – a non-profit organization established in Donostia comprised of computer security professionals and forensic computer science researchers. The main objective is to disseminate and share technical research and is open to anyone who is interested in security.

This year you can also register to take part in the EuskalHack Social Engineering Capture The Flag (SECTF)., This CTF, unique and the first in Europ, not only tests participants’ skills using OSINT, but will also create significant value when teams present their findings in a bid to raise awareness about the most prolific social engineering techniques being employed today.

3-8 August – Black Hat Las Vegas, Las Vegas, US

Black Hat USA remains the world’s leading information security event, where security experts from around the world will share their latest findings, open-source tools, zero day exploits and more, alongside hands-on offensive and defensive skill-building courses designed to define and help defend the information security landscape of tomorrow. 8-10 October – it-sa 2019, Nuremberg, Germany

it-sa is Europe’s largest expo for IT security and provides a unique platform for C level experts and IT security officers from all sectors to meet with developers and It security solutions providers. We’re heading there to demo just how our revolutionary deception technology underpins and enhances enterprise level threat hunting programmes, as well as to participate in the various forums for global industry debate.

22-23 October – 13ENISE, Leon, Spain

13ENISE, the International Meeting on Information Security, organised by INCIBE, will take place this October in Leon, Spain. The theme for the 13th edition of this meeting is “Cyber security in the connected industry: from the threat to the opportunity” and offers opportunities for industry professionals and entrepreneurs to network and participate in an open forum that facilitates internationalization.
